MIDDLETON
A Home of Art
Fully inspired by the eclectic and contemporary collection of art in the home, these spaces were designed to minimise the noise around artworks, giving them a voice to the story of the family.
The layout of the public space was reworked to create a more intimate setting for families to come together. From the narrower dining table featuring a Serge Mouille ceiling light as a focal point to the corner nook created by the bespoke sofa set, the lounge and dining areas are perfectly zoned, yet fit seamlessly next to one another.
The private areas continue the colour theme that is invited by the artwork in the lounge - from an Ecuador Green nursery to a tropical, wall papered master bedroom, each room has it's own character, pushing the boundaries of the traditional nursery or master bedroom, as art would do.
Working with the family to upcycle as much as we could, we reused and repainted as much as we could, reworking layout as much as we could to make the new home sharp and inviting.
