80s Grounded

Inspired by the 80s architecture of this architect designed home, Villa Terra aims to reconnect both the past and the present through authentic design and sourcing.

With a focus on restoring original features of the 80s, colour palettes were updated to be more nature inspired than the Mondrian 80s palettes. Applying natural materials such as stones, woods and cements, this home fully reconnects guests to nature not only through a careful materials selection but also with its fully terraced layout, accessible directly from each room of the home.

Contemporary furnitures and fixtures were added to make this home relevant, all while respecting the geometric architecture and design.
